Me, If I Were An Explanation Of This Blog
So, I think look like a cartoon. I'm a bald dude with nerd glasses and a goatee. And I'm apparently translatable to any medium. As an effort to teach myself some art technique, gain an appreciation for the craft involved in making the stuff I like to look at and give myself yet another time-sucking hobby, I began to draw myself as other things. And some of them turned out pretty good. Others, not as much.
The art here is parody... it's intentionally and blatantly "paying homage" to original images by artists that are vastly superior to me. In my posts, I give credit to those real artists, and where applicable, a picture of the art I'm ripping off (er... "using as inspiration") will be shown too.
All of these pictures are hand drawn on a tablet PC. I don't use any Photoshop or Illustrator-style filters... all the effects are through the use of pen and brush tools in my drawing program.
